Welcome to our 6th year of offering our Groundswell Surf Therapy For Trauma Recovery (Level 1) training!
What to expect:
In this experiential embodied training, we review the Somatic Therapy definition of trauma and explore the healing power of the our bodies, community and the ocean for trauma recovery. This training is rooted in research based models of somatic therapy, art therapy, eco therapy, and Blue Mind theory. All our trainings are co-facilitated by licensed clinicians and experts in the field with the goal of providing you a deeper understanding of trauma’s effects on the brain, body, community, and earth and how Surf Therapy can be a powerful tool for transformation, liberation, and recovery.
